For a week in September
2002 the Pulman Project arranges 4 training workshops for Public
Library Managers or Senior Librarians, mainly from South, Central
and Eastern Europe, to be hosted in 4 centres of excellence: Helsinki
(Finland), Ljubljana(Slovenia), Veria
(Greece),
Aarhus
(Denmark). All workshops held in
English

Report on the PULMAN Training Workshops
In
January 2002 invitations to participate in the PULMAN Training
Workshops in Aarhus, Helsinki, Ljubljana and Veria were sent.
There
will be 12 participants per Training Workshop with a total of 48
trainees, so unfortunately 29 applicants would be disappointed. 77
applications were received: Albania 3, Bulgaria 5, Czech Republic 3,
Estonia 4, Greece 15, Hungary 3, Latvia 1, Lithuania 9, Poland 12,
Portugal 8, Romania 4, Slovak Republic 2, Slovenia 7 Spain 1.
