Exploitation Event on
TRIS & Take-up trials: Luxembourg, 13th and 14th February 2003
TRIS is an EC-funded
accompanying measure co-ordinating 25 EC-funded trial projects to
increase their impact and exploit their results.
Involving more than 80
cultural institutions, mainly libraries, museums, archives, all over
Europe, the trial projects are stimulating the implementation of
innovative products and services in the cultural heritage sector by
experimenting with, and testing the application of existing
technologies in the cultural field.
After more than one
year following the launch of the 25 trial projects, with most of
them nearing completion, TRIS, in co-operation with the Cultural
Applications Unit of DG Information Society of the European
Commission, is organising a final event aimed to promote the trials'
results and their future exploitation. The draft agenda of the event
