Joint PULMAN-CULTIVATE national workshop
in Lithuania:
That joint PULMAN-CULTIVATE national workshop Libraries, museums and archives at the digital crossroads took place in Vilnius on the 18th of November, 2002, – in a very sensitive political context to the issues of European integration.
The joint PULMAN-CULTIVATE workshop was organized by the team of staff and students of the Department of Library Science, Faculty of Communication, Vilnius University (Coordinator: Audrone Glosiene) in cooperation with Vilnius A. Mickevicius County Library (coordinator Elvyda Skuodyte) that kindly hosted the event.
The workshop was extremely well attended. The event was announced in advance to
a broad audience of librarians, museum and archive specialists, politicians and academia. 70 people pre-registered and there were many as
110 participants in the workshop! These were members of PULMAN support group, library, museums, archives managers and specialists, university professors and students.
