Moldova National PULMAN XT workshop

The Moldova National PULMAN XT workshop was held successfully in Chisinau on 13th of October as part of the International Conference: “The Social Dimension of the Public Library within the Information Society". Ian Pigott from European Commission (A European Agenda for Modern Public Library Services) and Lidia Kulikovski (Responsabilitatea sociala a bibliotecii publice – o sinteza intre cunoastere si actiune) were the conference key speakers.

More than 85 participants attended the workshop from public libraries all over Moldova, museums and archives. Rob Davies presented the PULMAN Network. For more detailed program and papers presented at the PULMAN’s XT workshop.

Workshop facilitators were Mariana Harjevschi, PULMAN XT Country Coordinator and Lidia Kulikovschi, president of Library Association from Moldova. Besides Moldova official invitees: Ecaterina Rudacov, Senior Specialist, Territory Activities and Library Activities Department, Ministry of Culture, Eugen Martin, Chief, International Relations Department, Ministry of Culture, Alexe Rau Director, National Library. Among PULMAN colleagues were present: Calina Retisan (Romania), Ramazan Vozga (Albania), Bulent Ylmaz (Turkey).
