The Guidelines are the outcome of an international process of research and consultation which is still going on and which you can contribute to. Please tell us what you think about the guidelines using this
online contact form.
This first and provisional edition of the PULMAN guidelines has been published in English to enable as many people as possible to see them and comment on them before the end of November 2002 when a second edition will be produced. In the meantime the guidelines are being translated into national languages.
The second edition will contain a subject index, although the only part of this which is available at the moment is that relating to training matters.
Comments and review will also be gathered through the national workshops in each country and a Policy Conference in Oeiras Portugal during March 2003.
